ABOUT SOSU COSMETICS
SOSU Cosmetics was founded in 2015 by Suzanne Jackson. The story started years before that. In 2010, Suzanne began sharing her love of beauty online. A qualified beautician, makeup artist and nail technician, she spent years working face to face with women, hearing what they loved, what let them down and what they wished someone would just make. Through her blog and her socials she built a community on honest reviews, real tutorials and recommendations they could trust.
Products she reviewed would sell out, because women came to her for beauty advice that held up. Those conversations gave her something most brands never get: a clear view of what women actually wanted, not only from products, but from the brands behind them. She could see what they loved, what disappointed them, and what was missing from the shelf entirely.


So instead of talking about beauty, she decided to makeit.
It started with 25 nail shades
SOSU Cosmetics launched in 2015 with 25 nail polish shades, the bold, fashion-led colours Suzanne felt the Irish market was missing. Customers answered straight away. The brand hit its first-year sales target in seven weeks.
Lashes came next, out of Suzanne's own search for a lash that worked. With naturally sparse lashes herself, she wanted styles that were fluffy, light and comfortable, easy to put on, with bands that held their shape. Lashes for real women, not just for makeup artists.
Then contouring took off, and Suzanne watched customers fighting with thick creams that would not blend. She set out to make contour that was easy to use and genuinely wearable, the kind that brings a professional technique into an ordinary morning.
Then came the tan
Tanning was another frustration of her own. As an Irish woman and a beauty professional, Suzanne spent years chasing a tan that got the colour right, wore off cleanly and came in a formula to suit how you actually
like to tan.
That search led to Dripping Gold in 2018.
Today Dripping Gold is one of Ireland's leading tanning brands, with everything from mousses and lotions to liquids, clear formulas, instant tans, serums and body butter, so there is a tan to fit your routine,not the other way round.
In 2019, Bahama Body joined the family, widening the same
promise into body and skin.

Almost a decade on
Nearly ten years since that first product, SOSU Cosmetics has grown into an award-winning portfolio of more than 400 products, stocked in over 2,000 stores internationally.
Along the way the brand has won across the industry and worked with some of the best-known names in beauty and entertainment. Lauren Pope, our first UK celebrity collaboration, then collections with Olivia Attwood and Dani Dyer. SOSU has also been worn by internationally recognised names including Ariana Grande, Nicole Scherzinger, Michelle Keegan, Angela Scanlon and many more.
We are proud of all of it. But the achievement that matters most is the trust of the community that keeps choosing us, every single day.
